April 28th is the National Day of Mourning for workers killed and injured on the job. The focus of this day is to publicly remember lost co-workers, friends and family, and to reflect on our commitment to workplace safety.

As Day of Mourning falls on a Sunday this year, we will gather on Friday April 26 at Abbotsford City Hall Civic Plaza. Please join City staff and guests as we remember workers in BC who lost their lives to workplace injury and illness.

For those who cannot attend, please take a minute to remember those workers who have lost their lives or been seriously injured at work.
